I know I rarely update anymore. It's just that sometimes I lose interest in keeping a blog, LJ or whatever. I find the inspiration to start doing it from time to time though. I have commited myself into accumulating all the JE PVs I have in one post and I plan to do it nonetheless. Also about uploading the albums and the singles... I plan on continuing it when I have the time.
Also: It's still too early to be saying this but: I'm planning on applying for a scholarship to do post-graduate studies in Japan next year. If I get it, I'll be moving to Japan for at least 2-3 years. This is a dream I'll chase and won't let go. Up until now, whatever I put my heart into I achieve. But first I need to graduate. So in August I'll be studying my butt off to finish by next year! Wish me luck!

May 29th, 200802:16 pm: Our Universities are battlefields!
I don't usually update here and I don't usually write about that stuff but yesterday's events propelled me to do so. For those of you who do not live in Greece I have to explain though. Yesterday, there were Dean elections at the Universities. Some students belonging to the left parties and the students who belonged to the ruling party started fighting. However, at our University (in Pireus) things got out of control. The ruling party had some henchmen with wooden planks and the leftists were fighting with molottov bombs. As a result everything inside the University was trashed and some cars burned down and people were rushed to the hospital! I was lucky enough not to go there yesterday (thank God for my japanese classes). Even the Uni's site was hacked and doesn't work right now! Today, there are probably no classes. How can the professors teach in a thrashed class? Tomorrow I have to present a project but I wonder if the Uni is going to open? They destroyed it! I'm also worried about the exams that start next week. They may be pushed back... I swear that the situation at the Greek universities couldn't get worse! Since the government is pushing that law about the private Universities, we have been in a state of chaos. I envy the foreign Universities that don't allow political parties to run them. I hate politics! Politics in Greece at least!
Oh yeah: Some photos the leftists took. You can see the ruling party's henchmen. They are really scary!

February 18th, 200801:16 am: SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!
As KinKi Kids would say... It's snowing! Ever since Saturday evening! And since Sunday noon it started falling harder! Now everything outside is white!!! Pardon my excitement but I live in the Athenian western suburbs and here it rarely snows. Last snowfall was 2 or 3 years ago! This year's is the strongest one so far... Ah! How I wish my dad was around to see it! He loved snow so much! It's 1am right now and I went outside for a while. Everuthing was silent! I never understood this sound of silence thing but I think I experienced it for the first time today. No sounds from cars or tvs or the wind. Nothing. Just silence... It's scary and exciting at the same time! Current Mood: cheerful

December 29th, 200707:31 pm: The worst is over, time to move on
Seeing the post below I can't believe the irony of it... I wrote: 'If something worse happens I'll update the post". Well, it happened. That same night... You probably won't believe what I'm saying but... but... my father died... It's no joke. It was sudden. He was so healthy a few hours before! But he fainted after he drove me to the subway. When we took hm to te hospital, he gave in... In less than 30 minutes. He was such an innocent man... a child at heart. I wanted to say so many things but words won't come out. I'm finally free to speak about this. My father left me so many things, so many memories. The last memento I got of him is a cd from his friends at his Lineage II clan. He was singing "Born to be Wild", just 2 nights before his death. He sounds like a rock star! I'm so proud of him. I'll carry him inside me forever... At least he died happy. And not once he believed that he was gonna die. He left with no regrets. Rest in Peace Daddy! I love you! And I'm moving on. For me, mom and sis... I'll be strong! I promise you! Current Mood: calm

December 20th, 200711:16 am: Me is unlucky!
Hahaha! I cant' believe my (un)luck today! It's probably not my day. Aside from being late for work here are some things that happened to me today so far. ?I'll update this post if something more happens to me by the time I go to sleep. 1. Got stuck it the elevator. Alone. Yep. The place I work in on the 6th floor of the hospital. Today I though that I was lucky that there was an elevator right in front of me. And empty as well. But I was wrong. When I reached the 6th floor I couldn't open the door! The elevator wouldn't move either! I was stuck. Thank God I didn't panic! I pressed the emergency button but noone came. Eventually the elevator fixed itself and I was able to get out. Hahaha! 2.Lost my huge post on my greek blog For some reason when I posted it , it didn't come out so I had to do it all over again. 3.Pressure I'm getting pressed to finish a powerpoint presentation. So I need to go! Stress is killing me! Current Mood: stressed

November 19th, 200711:20 pm: A dream with KAT-TUN Part 2
OK! Here is the 2nd part! (oh and btw Ueda was not in this dream as you may have noticed! I don't know why! And I did not ask the guys about it! Maybe he had other bussiness) So there you have it! Actually I hadn't seen any JE related dreams for almost a year! But 3 days ago I dreamt of KAT-TUN doing a spaceship skit on TV. And it inspired me to write a fiction about it! So maybe I will! November 6th, 200710:32 pm: Update finally!
Well, it's an update! How come you'll ask! Well, I became really busy lately and I am to become more busy soon cause I have a job! It's full time for 2 months and it's practical exersice. I'll be working at the Informatics department of a big, private hospital. Kinda like the ones you see in Jdramas. It's gonna be tough but I'll try not to fall behind on my fandoms. Jdramas, jpop and such... Oh! Yeah! Me and my friends are starting a greek blog soon! It's gonna be crazy with lots of stuff from movies to sports commenting. I'll be in charge of Asian pop culture and I'll try to make it widely know to Greeks who still think that Japan produces only anime! Hehe! Oh and let me ask a question. Would you like me to upload JE mp3s and videos (other than PVs) here? I would like to be more active u know! ^^ How about other Jpop?? Tags: fandom, real life
September 21st, 200711:02 pm: Before I explode
I'm ready to explode... Seriously! Tomorrow I have two exams (one after the other) and my stress is catching up with me! I wish I could have studied more but as time goes by I find it harder and harder... Oh! well... For those of you who know how Greek universities are, you also know that failing an exam means nothing, cause you can always try it again without repeating a year... Other than that... Today I watched one of the most recent Mago Mago episodes. Man, I need to catch up! I hadn't watched in ages! I got immersed into Jdramas way too much! I'm also starting to watch some anime again and read some manga. Currently I'm reading Yamada Taro Monogatari. When I was in Japan I bought the first three volumes. I read the first in one day. It's funny as hell and the Japanese version is better than English scanlations. I understand most of the story (yay for 3 years of Japanese), which is quite different from the drama version. I like both equally. Now I just need to order the rest of the manga from YesAsia or sth but FIRST and FOREMOST I need a credit card. Ugh! I hate money shortages... Arashi have a new DVD coming out, KJ8 a new single and Tackey & Tsubasa a Best of Album! I want them all. I should probalby get a job but I'm too lazy! >< Also, this year I'll be trying some acting classes with my friends. I always wanted to be an actor/scriptwriter. It would be perfect if I could write the script for a Jdrama. A Jdrama that stars Arashi!!! XDDD But first I need some training! Classes start in November! So besides Japanese I'll have another activity! Yay! I also want to try photography. I 've been told I have the skills and I like having a camera in my hand. Not a videocamera though cause I'm not too stable with it. Check out this pic of my sis and Maira (my sis is the red-haired one). Do you like it? These girls love photoshoots and I'm thinking of photographing them like a professional would do. Don't they look nice with their matching clothes? They went on a double date like this! Ooops! Too much info! Sorry Taz! Current Mood: stressed

September 16th, 200712:54 am: Completely Random
This is actually completely random but I just remembered that on my way back from Osaka, Japan, I was on the same plane with American band Fall Out Boy. I just read that they won the MTV Video Music Award for best Group and it came back to mind. I couldn't care less when I saw them cause, honestly, I'm more of a Jpop fan and I hadn't heard of them until that day when one of our group recognised them. What actually made an impression on me however were their bodyguards: two HUGE black men! They were so big I was wondering if they could fit in the airplane seats. Well I wish I had a bodyguard like that. I would feel completely safe all the time! XD Current Mood: sleepy

August 25th, 200711:20 am: Tragedy
I intended my next entry to have been the chronicles of my trip to Japan but things got out of hand and I feel the need to communicate and describe the situation we have been living here since yesterday. What we live now can be described as the biggest tragedy Greece has had to face since the deadly earthquake of 1999. Greece is burning... again. Only this time it's worse! The whole of Peloponese is in flames and not without a death toll! Right now it's been confirmed that 41 people died and that number will surely rise as more fires surface around us. Our village has become isolated. We can't leave for Athens as all the roads are closed. The fire in Megalopoli got so huge that the smoke has blocked the sun. We can't leave the house cause breathing outside has become unbearable! We prepared our necessary stuff just in case something happened and we need to evacuate! Fortunately our area is safe but you never know! Yesterday we did not have any power in the early afternoon. When the power came back we discovered that there was a fire in Zacharo. This town is about 40 kms from my village. At one of the villages there, Makistos, 10 people died. My mom felt restless. It was her best friend's village. She phoned her and found her on the road from Athens, with her brother, rushing to their parent's side. The power went down again at around 6pm. We, then, went to the cemetery to leave flowers on my grandpa's grave cause yesterday it was the 13th anniversary from his death. The wind was strong and we had to keep my grandma from lighting his candle.' No fires!' we told her. Meanwhile we could see the smoke from the Zacharo fire behind the mountain getting stronger. We visited my aunt on our way home and kinda forgot about the situation for a while. When we returned however we were brought back to reality. The power was back on for a while and we saw that they kept finding burned bodies. It got dark and the power went down once again. We sat at the balcony and watched the blazes of the fire illuminating the night behind the mountain. My mom's friend told her that they found their parents but their house burned down. She still didn't know where her uncles where. At around 10 the power came back and we watched from the TV the unbelievable tragedy unfolding. A woman phoned the TV stationsaying they were trapped in a village with her baby and 20 other oeople. She screamed and cried for help. It brought chills down my spine. We also learned about another fire in Evia near the region Styra. That's where my friend's, Maira's, village is! We called her and she told us that her village was burning too. Her parents managed to save their house but the rest of the village was in danger and they went to help their neighbors. As the night progressed so did the difficulty of putting out the fires. My mom told her friend nad her brother to come and sleep at our house cause they had nowhere to go. They arrived after I went to sleep and left early in the morning again to go and assert the situation. I woke up today to find that new fires broke out. Generally the situation looks bad. They say our area is still safe but I wonder for how long. I really hate the fact that I can't do anything about it. I can only pray that this hell will end soon. So that no more people lose their lives. Cause we can rebuilt what was burnt but we can't return people to life.
Heh... The power went dont again now... Thank God I have a laptop and I can post this... Tags: real life
July 26th, 200711:30 pm: I'm so pissed!
I usually don't curse and swear but this time I wanna shout out loud: YOU DAMN ARSONISTS SHOULD JUST DIE AND GO TO HELL! AND SUFFER AN ETERNITY OF UNENDING
PAIN!!!
After watching the whole of Greece surrendering what little green there is left to the huge fires during the last month it's the only thing I can say! Sure some of the fires were initiated by the heat but most of them were surely the work of arsonists. And although I can't put my finger on it was probably done for political reasons. If not how come every summer before elections the whole Greece lights up? Ever since I was small. This year however it was the worst. The last forests that beautified our barren country are no more. I feel like I wanna cry... First Parnitha, the last forest near Athens, disappears in flames. The cinders from the burned trees carried from the wind that day outside my house made my heart ache. Oh God why does the forest we played in when we were little have to be destroyed? All that's left is black silhouettes of burned trees and dead forest animals. And then it's the beautiful canyons near Aigio. I spend two years of my life at that place! The road to Kalavryta offered one of the most beautiful and scenic drives in Europe. But not anymore! Why? WHY? After all this, can you blame me for fearing fire? For screaming at the sight of a burning match close to my face? Can you? My mom fears for our village too. For our olive tree fields... If there's a fire we can lose our property in just minutes... And this is one of the reasons I grew to hate summer although I used to love it...

June 17th, 200701:04 am: What a night!
I just came back from my outing, Saturday night. Me and my sis met with our girl friends, in Bournazi, a trendy spot near where I live. And after we had fun there my sis had to give the girls a ride home. And that's where the real fun began! After we got Maria home there were just 4 of us in the car (Me, Sis, Eleni and Maira). In a traffic light there was a car next to us. And in the car were 4 boys who started hitting on us! They wanted to know where we were going, our cell phone numbers and stuff. We played along of course! My sis turned suddenly at one point in order to lose them but lo and behold they did a U-turn! And they kept following us. In 2 traffic lights one of them came out of their car and approached ours. We poked our fun at him and Maira asked him to marry her and give her his cell phone. When, however he went back to get his cell phone, the light turned green and we sped off. They followed but soon we managed to lose them. But on our way home there were also others who tried to pick us up as well! It's like we sprayed ourselves with pheromones that night. All in all it was a fun night! Night drives are the best after all! And some facts: 1. The whole time I had the Yorokobi no Uta single playing out loud. When my sis stepped on the gas we would begin to sing it loudly. 2. Sis is an amazing driver. Her sudden turns were really smooth and she did not lose her calm one bit! She was high in spirits constantly! That's it! Going to sleep now although I feel quite energetic. I have to study for exams tomorrow! Tags: fandom, real life
June 11th, 200702:53 pm: At the uni
Hey yo! I'm posting from the university's lab! I gotta go to class soon so I'm killing some time here. I should update more often... And make this journal populaer or sth. How am I gonna do that? Hmmm... I'll probably have to upload stuff... But my upload speed sucks big time! However we're gonna upgrade our connection this summer (we = dad and me) so after I'm back from Japan I may have a lot of stuff to put up here! Yay! Heh heh. Today I'm wondering around the university with KAT-TUN's Yorokobi no Uta single and Kanjani8's KJ2 Album in my bag... My friends said some awfully funny comments about the Kanjani8 outfits (u know those RPG costumes). They have a creatinve way to make fun of Johnny's without getting me mad at all. Instead I LMAO all the time! Now I'm off to class! Current Mood: full Current Music: From my mp3

March 30th, 200703:50 pm: Cookies!
A second entry so soon? The world must be coming to an end! Anyway what I want to talk about here are cookies! Two days ago I helped my grandma with my sis to make them for Easter. They turned out great! Relly delicious! I am eating a snail shaped one I made right now as I type. My grandma is all for classic shapes but I like originality. I even made a dolphin which is now in my stomach. My sis experimented with kanji. They are cute! She also made a P to pair with the yama character and write YamaP! (What a hopeless fangirl I am!) March 26th, 200710:53 pm: Bored.......
Yes I am bored. And I haven't updated in ages but I could not find anything interesting to write... Not that I am going to write anything now... Just that tonight my friends came over. We were really bored so we filmed some retarded skits that I thought up. It was like this: Skit 1. My sis, Taz, and my friend Maira playing a couple breaking up. Taz tries to walk out the door and Maira grabs her and hugs her tightly. Taz breaks free and still leaves and Maira heartbroken falls to her knees... (We did this 3 times). It was fun. (The idea came from the countless Jdramas and Kdramas I watch) Skit 2. Taz plays the piano and Maira walks from behind. She hits my sis with a pan and uses a big knife to cut off her fingers. It was hilarious! We did this twice cause it was really good. (The idea came to me after watching Park Chan Wook's Cut earlier this evening) Skit 3. Cinderella (Maira) wants to go the ball and the fairy godmother appears (Taz). But instead of changing Cinderella to a ball dress she changes her to another person (my dear friend Eleni) simply cause she did not like her face! I don't remember how many times we filmed this cause something would go wrong everytime!Lol. Also another friend of mine, Maria did a cameo as the evil stepsister. (The idea just popped into my head after realising there where still ashes in the fireplace!) Skit 4. The best of all. It was pure improvising from my friends part. I simply told them the story: An explorer (Eleni) finds a gay indian(Taz) and a gay cowboy(Maira) who are having a relationship and interviews them. In the end they hit on him and chase him around! It was wondreful! I laughed so much! My sis was just pure madness in the role of the indian! Dancing around like an ape and swinging a bat talking nonsense! Maira was both funny and cool and used a devil's tail (bought during the carnival period last year) as a crotch coming out of her jeans. My sis hit her crotch with her bat as a form of greeting! Lol! And Eleni was so cute standing around freaking out with their mad gigs! And the chase in the end was pure crack! I was following them around with the camera. They even stopped a while to harass Maria who was sitting on the couch! I had so much fun! We rarely get to do so crazy stuff. I mean we usually do crazy stuff but this time it was... so much crazier! ......Seriously everybody should do smth like this! It's unbelievably relaxing... Takes the stress away! Tags: real life
August 28th, 200612:16 pm: Holidays over --- time to study (but I really want to travel!!!)
Holidays are over for me! I already miss them... They were great. We took a trip around Europe! Italy, Austria, The Czech Republic and Hungary! They were lovely countries, totally different from Greece! We were on a bus but it wasn't that tiring! The city of Prague was my favorite. A medieval city full of life with its history imprinted on the buildings. We even dined at a cellar which reminded me of the inns in medieval-styled RPGS! So many memories, so little time... Vienna, Venice and Budapest were also very beautiful and I want to visit all of them again! Now I have to study though... Exams start first thing in September and Informatics is not easy I'm telling you. I can't concetrate easily cause my mind trails off... to places I've never been. I love travels! My biggest dream is to travel around the globe, to go to Japan (first of all)and to Egypt, to cross Russia on a train, to go the Patagonian steppes, to the islands of Indonesia, to Antarctica! I love foreign cultures and history. That's probably why I want to learn more foreign languages. Japanese is just the start! I'm moving on to learn Korean, Italian and maybe German! (But English and Japanese still remain my no1 favorite languages! ;P) Tags: real life
